Lionel Messi's father, Jorge, has hit out at reports regarding his son's contract situation at Paris Saint-Germain.
The 35-year-old is out of contract at PSG this summer and has been linked with a mega-money move to Saudi Arabia side Al-Hilal. It has been claimed that Messi has been offered the same wage packet as Cristiano Ronaldo, who is currently earning around £173million per year at rivals Al-Nassr. He has also been linked with a switch to David Beckham's MLS side, Inter Miami, while claims of a return to Barcelona won't go away either.
There has been reports that PSG had paused contract talks amid concerns they will face fresh Champions League sanctions for further Financial Fair Play (FFP) breaches, while questions have been asked of the World Cup winner's relationship with current PSG coach Christophe Galtier.

Now Jorge Messi has issued an angry denial, taking to Instagram to shut down claims that his son had left training early on Friday after falling out with the PSG boss. Messi was, it's claimed, involved in a bust-up with Galtier, although other reports insists he asked to leave early and was granted permission.
The 65-year-old responded: "How long are they going to lie??? Where are the tests??? Ahhh what is it all fake... OK!!!" he wrote on social media. "For many what to put I don't know believe nothing... WE ARE NOT GOING TO TOLERATE MORE INVENTIONS TO GAIN FOLLOWERS."
This comes after Jorge was spotted arriving in Saudi Arabia recently. His son is an international ambassador for the Saudi tourism board.
Meanwhile, a return to Barcelona has also continued to be mooted, exacerbated by Barcelona president Joan Laporta earlier this month.
"I met Jorge Messi yes," the Blaugrana chief announced. "We talked about the World Cup and a tribute match for Leo. He's at PSG right now, so I don't want to speak about whether or not he could return."
