Edinburgh is well known for its extortionate housing but it turns out that parking spaces in the city centre can also come with a hefty price tag.
Rightmove is advertising three parking spots for £125,000 at 17 Dublin Street - the same cost as a recently sold flat on their website in Stenhouse.
For over £100,000 the potential owner would get parking spots five, six and seven which are part of a larger car park that are secured by electronic gates.

Galbraith, who are selling the spots, say that the location of the bays are what make them such a desirable spot in the capital.
On Rightmove, they say: “The subjects identified as spaces five, six and seven comprise three clear tarmacadam car parking spaces within a larger car park.
“Access to the spaces are by an automatic electric gates system.”
On their location, they add: “The subjects are located on Dublin Street South Lane, accessed off Dublin Street and York Lane.
“The premises are conveniently located on the edge of Edinburgh Office Markets ‘Golden Rectangle’, and with St Andrew Square, George Street and the St James Quarter within immediate proximity.”
The parking spots are tucked away from public view and do appear to be a safe spot to park a vehicle or three for local residents or those accessing the city centre on a regular basis for leisure or work.
