At least fourteen people have been shot following a mass shooting in the US State of Philadelphia on Saturday night.
Of those who were hit during the attack, two men and one woman have been pronounced dead at a nearby hospital, while the condition of the remaining 11 victims is currently unknown.
According to local reports, a group of shooters opened fire on a large crowd enjoying their evening on Philadelphia’s South Street.

South Street is a bustling area of the city and is filled with restaurants, shops, and bars that are frequented by thousands of locals and tourists each weekend.
Officers who were on patrol in the area said they heard multiple gunshots, before seeing a number of gunmen firing bullets into the crowd.
Speaking at a conference in the aftermath of the incident, Philadelphia Police Inspector D. F. Pace said: “You can imagine there were hundreds of individuals enjoying South Street, as they do every single weekend when this shooting broke out.”
Inspector Pace said one of the shooters was shot by police, but at this point, they are “uncertain whether he was struck or not, but the officer was able to get that individual to drop his gun and flee.”
While officers admitted they have little information on the perpetrators at this point Pace said that police are due to gather “a lot of video surveillance footage” from businesses lining the street on Sunday.
From this, they are hoping they can try to identify those that were involved in the mass shooting.
No arrests have been made yet, however, according to Fox 29, the first suspect is a woman.
