The helicopter, operated by Air Evac Lifeteam, was carrying three personnel who tragically lost their lives in the crash. The victims were identified as Gale Alleman, Bethany Aicken, and James Welsh.

Authorities revealed that the Grant County-based crew was on a mission to retrieve a patient when the fatal crash occurred. Both the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) have launched investigations into the incident, with police overseeing the death investigation.
