The three best vegetarian restaurants in Liverpool have been named.
UK Three Best Rated, which rates businesses using a 50-point inspection including reviews, reputation, satisfaction, cost and more, has named its top Liverpool vegetarian restaurants for 2021.
Coming out on top are The Egg Cafe, Sanskruti and Veggie Republic.

Each restaurant was awarded five stars and given a brief review from UK Three Best Rated.
Of The Egg Cafe, it said: “The Egg Cafe provides the Vegetarian and vegan food in an airy loft with exposed girders, a mezzanine floor and gallery space. The Egg Cafe is situated in the heart of Liverpool.
“This restaurant is a fantastic place to hang out for a cuppa and a meal. All of the menus are plant-based and where required, free from dairy and gluten including their legendary homemade cakes and desserts.
“Savour their set menu at £9.75 and spicy burger at £4.95. They are fully licensed and sell wine and beers, and Egg Cafe also offers corkage so you can bring your own wine at £2.
“The Egg Cafe offers live music performance, takeout options, highchairs for kids, and free Wifi. Reservation facilities are available in this restaurant.”
The Egg Cafe is based at 16-18 Newington, L1 4ED.
Sanskruti is described as providing “the best quality recipes 'Thalis' of Gujarat, 'Chaats' of Mumbai, 'Dosas' of South India, and North Indian curries.”
UK Three Best Rated added: “They offer an extensive range of choices, many of which are unlikely to be found in any other Liverpool restaurant. Sanskruti Restaurant's menu is as vibrant and colourful as the continent itself.
“They always use high-quality and fresh ingredients and deliver vegan and vegetarian cuisine.
“The Sanskruti restaurant provides a bread basket at £5.50, sharing chaat platter at £9.25. They also do for all tastes from the mild & medium recipes and offer gluten-free options. Reservations facilities are available in this restaurant.”
Sanskruti is located on Bixteth St, L3 9LP.
