Three charged with attempted murder after teen stabbed in Dulwich on New Year’s Day

Three men have been charged with attempted murder after a teenager was seriously injured in a stabbing in south London on New Year’s Day.

Police and paramedics were called to Seeley Drive on Dulwich’s Kingswood Estate shortly after 11.30pm on Sunday, to reports a man had been stabbed.

An 18-year-old was taken to hospital suffering stab injuries, where he remains in a critical condition. His family have been informed.

Scotland Yard confirmed on Thursday that Tashan Baily-Brown, 22, of Meadowview Road, Bellingham; Denzel Ealmeida, 21, of Elam Close, Brixton; and, Darren Sotemi, 24, of no fixed address, were charged with attempted murder on Wednesday.

They are due to appear at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.

A total of 12 people have been arrested in connection with the investigation. Nine have been bailed pending further enquiries.
