Police have charged two men and a woman following three armed robberies at shops in south London and Kent.
Stephen Hand, Alexander Emmerich, and Hannah Sims, all from Dartford, Kent, are accused of conspiracy to rob and will appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
The Metropolitan Police said the first two incidents occurred at a shop on Gilbert Road, Belvedere, south London. On January 6, a man armed with a handgun allegedly threatened staff and fled with cash. A week later, on January 14, another armed robbery attempt was made at the same shop, but staff deterred the suspect.
The third robbery happened on January 23 at a shop on Stanhope Road, Swanscombe, Kent. Two men and a woman allegedly threatened the shopkeeper with a firearm before stealing goods. Officers intercepted them as they fled, arresting all three suspects.
Despite firearms being used in all three incidents, no shots were fired, and no injuries were reported.
Hand, 26, of Thames Road, Dartford, Emmerich, 26, of Thames Road, Dartford, and Sims, 28, of Medway Road, Dartford, will appear in court to enter their pleas.
