POLICE are investigating three possible cases of voter impersonation at Glasgow polling stations.
The council was alerted to four cases and three are being investigated further.
Police have asked for one ballot paper to be extracted from a ballot box in Glasgow West and two papers in Glasgow South West.
The ballot papers are being removed and taken away for inspection.

Officers with blue gloves on were seen at the count waiting to take away papers for examination.
The investigation is not expected to delay the counts in the two constituencies.
The ballot boxes cannot be opened until they arrive at the count hall.
The council was alerted to the cases earlier in the day and staff know exactly which ballot boxes are involved.
Each ballot paper has an identifying number so it can be easily identified from the hundreds of papers that are in each box.
