A three-car crash has caused a Scots road to be closed by the police this morning.
Emergency services raced to the scene on the A944, near Loch of Skene, heading towards Aberdeen at around 7.10am.
It is understood that a major incident vehicle, four fire and rescue appliances and an ambulance were all present in the area.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said at the time: "Around 7.10am on Thursday, March 31, officers were called to reports of a three car crash on the A944, near Dunecht, Westhill.
"Emergency services are at the scene. The road is closed between Dunecht and Loch of Skene."
Traffic was being diverted from Dunecht to Echt, and along the Garlogie Road to Westhill.
Road Policing Scotland then tweeted at 8.45am: "The A944 near Loch of Skene is now reopen following the earlier road traffic collision.
"We are still at scene whilst the vehicles involved are recovered so please take extra care as you approach."
It is unclear at this time whether anyone has been injured in the incident or what vehicles are involved.
