Three-car collision near Renfrewshire beauty spot sees vehicles badly damaged

Two people sustained slight injuries following a three-car collision near the Gleniffer Braes Country Park early on Thursday evening.

The cars crashed shortly after 5pm at Gleniffer Road’s junction with Foxbar Road and Nethercraigs Road.

It is understood a white Audi collided with a white Renault Clio and an orange Jeep during the incident.

Emergency services attended and found two drivers had received mild injuries but they did not require an ambulance.

All three vehicles were badly damaged and the road was closed by police.

No one was charged in relation to the incident.

The vehicles were uplifted and the road reopened at 7.30pm.

The vehicles were recovered after police attended (Andrew Neil)
