Three arrests made after bomb squads called to Buchanan Bus Station

POLICE have arrested three men after the bomb squad was called to Glasgow’s Buchanan Bus Station on Wednesday.

The central transport hub was evacuated on the afternoon of November 20, with the nearby Glasgow Caledonian University also evacuating as a “precaution”.

Some bus services were suspended as EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) teams were dispatched to the scene.

Later in the afternoon, equipped members of the bomb squad were photographed moving into Buchanan Bus Station.
