Threats to Mr Flashy rival as innocent family's home hit in feud attack in Finglas, north Dublin

An innocent family’s home was hit by mistake with a grenade in the latest incident of a bitter feud in Finglas, north Dublin.

It is understood the property, in the Deanstown Green area of Finglas, was attacked just before 8pm on Tuesday by gangsters feuding with notorious gang boss Mr Flashy.

The innocent family’s home was hit when the object, suspected to have been a grenade, was thrown into the back garden, causing damage to the back door and window.

“This was a sinister attack and those involved targeted the wrong property,” a source told The Star.

“An innocent family’s home was mistakenly targeted by this reckless gang,” the source said.

No one was injured in the attack and gardai continue to investigate the incident.

Several squad cars arrived at the scene as an investigation into the attack commenced. Yesterday morning, a single squad car remained at the scene.

The attack on the property comes as tensions remain high in the area following the assault of an innocent teenager in the area last weekend.

The teen was struck at least once with a large weapon by a young gang.

It has also emerged that sinister threats have appeared online targeting a rival of Mr Flashy. That rival is a close associate of gun victim Eric Fowler.

“The rival targeted with the online threats is one of the senior lads feuding with Mr Flashy,” a source told The Star.

“There have been a lot of sinister threats in the messages and sinister videos being posted online in the past couple of days and this will only fuel the feud further,” the source said.

“There are fears things are going to escalate quite quickly because of all of the attacks and online threats,” the source said.

Meanwhile, gardai are continuing to investigate the incident of criminal damage on the property.

“Investigations are ongoing and gardai are appealing to anyone with any information to contact them,” An Garda Siochana said in a statement.

“Gardai are particularly keen for anyone who may have witnessed or have camera footage of this incident to make contact with gardai.”
