Thousands have been raised for the family of a popular footballer and solider who died this week.
Glenn Fullam, from Killinarden, was a soldier with the Irish Air Corps, and he also played football with Crumlin United FC. The 26-year-old was described as a "shining light" by the football club, who added that he will be "sadly missed by everyone at the club".
The father-of-one's funeral mass took place on Thursday in St Anne’s Church, Bohernabreena followed by burial in Bohernabreena Cemetery. Crumlin United launched a fundraiser for Glenn's family and have raised almost €20,000 in just a day.

They wrote: "Glenn's Football Family at Crumlin United Football Club are setting up this page in memory of Glenn. Those of you who knew Glenn, know he always had a smile on his face.
"Glenn was full of life and was a big part of our club. At 26 years old he was taken away from his family and his football family way too soon, Glenn fought with everything to the end with a smile on his face while still making others smile. Glenn was part of the Irish Defence Forces and served his country with pride.
"Although we can never take away the pain Glenn leaving has left behind, we hope by setting up this page we can ease some of the pressure for his family. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anan dílis."
The Irish Air Corps have also given heart-felt tribute to Glenn, who had joined the Defence Forces in 2017 and he also served with the UNIFIL 114 Infantry Battalion.
They wrote on social media: "It is with heavy hearts that we share the sad news of the passing of Airman Glenn Fullam from CIS.
"Glenn was not just a colleague, but a dear friend to many of us. His dedication, professionalism, and kind-hearted nature will always be remembered.
"Glenn joined the DF in 2017, served with UNIFIL 114 INF BN and CIS in the Irish Air Corps,making significant contributions to our team and to the DF community as a whole. His unwavering commitment to his friends and family, his duty to the Air Corps and his exceptional skills and passion for soccer, were evident to all who had the privilege of working with him.
"Glenn was known for his warm smile, his sense of humour and his devotion to his soccer teams, including the DF International Soccer Team. Glenn will be deeply missed by all of us. During this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with Glenn's family, friends, and loved ones.
"Rest in peace, Glenn Fullam. You will be forever remembered and greatly missed. Thank you for your service and your friendship," they added.
Glenn also previously played for Ireland through the Irish Defence Forces football team. They shared a photo of Glenn proudly representing his country, and said: "It is with the greatest sadness that we regret to announce the passing of our player Glenn Fullam, a talented footballer and a comrade on and off the pitch, who will be deeply missed."
