Thousands participate in Ram Navami procession

Thousands of people participated in the Ram Navami processions organised by Sri Ram Sene and the Sri Ram Navami Utsav Samiti.

Religious processions carrying a statue of Lord Ram were taken out from Ram Teerth at Aland Check-Post and Nagareshwara School in Gunj joined in the Super Market area and culminated at Jagat Circle. The tableaux display of India map and Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir were the cynosure of all eyes.

The procession organised by Sri Ram Sene displayed a tableau of India map. The sene also paid tribute to five personalities, the former Chief of Defence Staff late General Bipin Rawat,singer Lata Mangeshkar, actor Puneeth Rajkumar, Bajrang Dal activist Harsha and Shivu Uppar, who died recently.

The procession taken out by Sri Ram Navami Utsav Samiti displayed a silver brick which will be donated to the Sri Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

People dressed in traditional attire danced to folk songs.
