Workers across Ireland were unable to access Microsoft services like Outlook and Teams this morning due to a network issue which affected customers across Europe.
Users worldwide were reporting major issues with standard services and the Microsoft store, Xbox Live and with certain games like Minecraft.
In a post on Twitter, Microsoft 365 said it had identified a potential networking issue and was working on getting things safely back up and running for thousands of people across Ireland and beyond.

The main issues were being seen by those trying to access desktop Outlook and Teams rather while many still had access to the mobile versions.
Website Downdetector logged a massive spike in issues with Microsoft services from shortly after 6:30 am this morning.
Although it seems that many people are back online, there are still hundreds of people reporting issued on the website.
The latest update from the tech experts was posted just before 11:00 am and says: “We're continuing to monitor the recovery across the service and some customers are reporting mitigation.
