Boots shoppers have been loving a "beautiful" £8.99 Maybelline lip gloss after spotting it online.
The Maybelline Lifter Gloss Plumping Hydrating Lip Gloss Hyaluronic Acid has received more than 1k five star reviews from Boots shoppers who claim the product gives a "beautiful finish". The gloss contains hyaluronic acid to plump the lips and comes in five different shades.
Containing "sun-kissed pigments", the gloss is perfect for the summer and is "inspired by golden hour". Priced at £8.99, the lip gloss comes in various shades including ice, moon, silk, petal, reef, amber, stone, copper, bronze, gold and sun.

Shoppers have been quick to leave plenty of positive reviews on the lip gloss. One review on Boots' website reads: "I have it in Ice and oh my god, my lips look beautifully supple with not a hint of stickiness. I would buy it again and recommend to anyone who is on the hunt for a gorgeous lip gloss which not only feels great but improves the condition of the lips. I have tried many premium branded lip glosses but honestly this Maybelline beauty surpasses them."
A second shopper said: "Literally I have the entire collection, they’re perfect. Perfect shade, amazing scent like vanilla. They don’t burn at all like other [plumping] lip gloss, they’re also not too sticky they have the perfect consistency. This also it’s not my fav shade but they’re beautiful."
A third review read: "This gloss, in Copper, looked really good with my skin tone. It gave it that extra glimmer that definitely was needed after using it. It’s a smooth gloss, not super thick, nor sticky!"
A fourth Boots shopper said: "I remember Maybelline used to have the Diamond shine lip gloss and lip stick. I recently bought the Pearl color one and it was the glittery one. I was kind of skeptical, but decided to try it out anyway. It shined just like diamonds on my lips! It was glittery and beautiful! Only certain colors have that though. Next time, I'm going to try the Opal colored one. That has the glitter in it too. Thanks Maybelline for putting the glitter back in the lip gloss. Way to go!!!"
