A vegan festival taking place in Dublin in September is expected to attract thousands as it returns for the first time in three years.
Having started in 2015, VegFest has grown significantly since and will now take place at Leinster Cricket Club in Rathmines on Saturday and Sunday, September 24 and 25.
Event coordinator Pears spoke to Dublin Live about the upcoming vegan food festival, revealing that there will be a delicious range of flavours there to try for the duration of the weekend.

He said: "There'll be Afro-Caribbean, Middle Eastern, Asian and South American food. I don't think you'll get though all of the great food that'll be there. People tend to stay all day at this event. At things like music festivals, people tend to get something in the afternoon and then maybe after the last show.
"At VegFest, they stay all day and try loads of different things. We want to show the variety of things you can eat that are plant based.
"It's a good place to go if people are considering changing their eating habits, particularly now after the heatwave we had."
He added: "One simple bit of climate action is to replace meat and dairy with vegan food. It's tasty, enjoyable and has the same texture and similar flavours. It's not hard to be vegan in Ireland. It can be lots of fun."
Accessibility is an important factor in organising Dublin VegFest, as is making sure everyone who attends feels comfortable and safe. Pears told us: "We always try to make it more accessible every year.
"Even though we're coming out of restrictions, a lot of people are still nervous about getting Covid so it's good that we have it in an outdoor open space."
As well as a range of delicious vegan food stalls, Dublin VegFest will also play host to a number of talks.
