Thor Bjornsson sets out conditions for Eddie Hall rematch including tattoo and bet

Eddie Hall must have Thor Bjornsson's name tattooed on his body if he is to earn a rematch with his rival.

Bjornsson knocked down his opponent twice en-route to a points win in their grudge match in Dubai on Saturday night. The Icelandic star admitted after the fight that he would be willing to give his strongman rival a rematch after Hall demanded one in the ring.

But the 33-year-old has admitted he will only explore a second fight if his rival keeps his word with their pre-fight wagers. "He wants a rematch and I am definitely willing to do a rematch if he keeps his word," Bjornsson said in a post-fight interview on his YouTube channel. "So he has to get a tattoo on his body which says me as World's Strongest Man on his body. Then he has to give me $200,000.

"Then I pick a charity which I will announce on my social media, if he keeps his word you know which I hope he does then one hundred per cent we will do it. If he really wants a rematch then he will.

"It was an agreement we made between me and Eddie, I think that giving to charity is a no-brainer he actually wanted to give all his money to charity. I have huge respect for that but I am actually not sure he will get a tattoo.

"I truly doubt that he will so in reality I don't think the rematch will ever happen because I can't see that happening. If he doesn't get a tattoo there will no be rematch and I am not going to hold him down and say 'get a tattoo'."

Hall will now need to have to have a tattoo inked with "World’s Strongest Man" and Bjornsson's name to force through talks for a rematch. He will also be required to fulfil their $200,00 wager which he attempted to upgrade to £1 million during the heated fight build-up.

The fight went the entire six-round distance as Bjornsson recovered from a slow start, including being given a count in the second round, to impose himself on Hall

Hall has now claimed that his boxing journey may not be over after two years of training for this fight. "You know what, I can take things as a man. It is what it is, that's boxing," Hall said post-fight.

"At the end of the day I've just fought the biggest man on the planet in a boxing match. I'd like to see anyone else get the balls and do that. It's been a hell of a journey; I've enjoyed it and hopefully there's a rematch and we can do business again.

"I want to wish everyone out there.. that you're staying safe, sating positive and you keep moving forward in life. The most important thing is family; this gorgeous baby [Hall's wife] is my rock and no matter what happens I get to go home to her and the kids."
