Thor Bjornsson fans joke about change made to Eddie Hall for fight poster

Thor Bjornsson's fans have joked about Eddie Hall's height on the fight poster for their boxing fight.

Bjornsson and Hall will clash on March 19 in Dubai as they prepare to settle their long-term rivalry in the ring.

The pair were set to meet last year in September but Hall was forced to withdraw from the clash after suffering a detached bicep during his preparations.

And now fans have joked about Hall's height on a fight poster made with four weeks to go, with one fan commenting: "This is clearly photoshopped! Either that or Eddie is standing on a stool."

Another agreed: "Eddie will get hurt and pull out of the fight when he falls of the stool that he is standing on."

One fan joked: "Is he standing on a large box?

Another continued the joke: "Eddie made some height gains I see."

Another fan took a more serious approach to the height difference, saying: "Eddie fanboys are gonna get triggered because of the height stuff and Thor said that Eddie backed out.

"But you all got to remember that Eddie kept claiming that Thor was gonna pull out, but he ended up pulling out himself."

One fan also agreed: "Mate I’ve already given him grief about that picture, he must be stood on a stool to look you in the eye like that."

Bjornsson stands at a monstrous six feet, nine inches tall and holds a six inch height advantage over Hall who stands at six feet, three inches.

Both men have made remarkable physical transformations to take the fight with Hall losing 40kg while Bjornsson has also lost 50kg.

However Hall is planning to weigh in heavier at around 148kg after piling on weight over Christmas to increase his power in training.

The pair have a rivalry that stems back from their campaigning to become World's Strongest Man which the pair have now both won.

Bjornsson is confident of delivering a victory after having prior boxing fights against Steven Ward, Simon Valily and Devon Larratt.

His most recent fight against Larratt ended within a round after securing a routine stoppage and the Icelandic star has vowed to secure another stoppage against Hall next month.

"I think I'll knock him out in the third or fourth round," Bjornsson proclaimed while speaking with iFL TV about the fight.

"I'm not too worried about when or how, I've said it in silly action when we're talking but I'm not too worried about when.

"I'm just focused on me, focused on getting as good as possible, and people can make predictions on how they're going to win fights.

"But at the end of the day when you're in the ring things can change very fast and you have to be quick to adjust even though you have a game plan because it might not work."
