Thomas Tuchel sacked by Todd Boehly after Chelsea boss refused ridiculous half time dressing room request

Todd Boehly sacked Thomas Tuchel as Chelsea boss after an attempt to take a group of guests into the dressing room at HALF-TIME was denied, according to a report.

The American is now on his third manager of the campaign after ditching Tuchel and replacement Graham Potter. Club legend Frank Lampard has returned to take the reins until the end of the season, but has failed to improve the Stamford Bridge club’s fortunes.

Tuchel has since taken over at Bayern Munich, but talkSport claim that he was axed after Boehly was denied the chance to bring his pals into the home dressing during the interval of a 2-1 home win over West Ham back in September. Tuchel won three of his first six games in charge as issues with Boehly started to become apparent. That came after a disagreement in the summer over the club’s transfer policy, which has been scattergun to say the least.

The game against the Hammers turned out to be Tuchel’s final home game in the dugout. His refusal to indulge the US businessman is said to have gone down extremely poorly, before a Champions League defeat to Dinamo Zagreb days later proved to be the final nail in his Chelsea coffin after tensions had run high in previous weeks.

It’s claimed that Boehly felt that a number of his matchday guests, including children, should have been permitted access while Tuchel was giving his team talk. But that was a non-start for the boss and Boehly, who also owns the LA Dodgers, had to return to his seat in the directors box after the snub.
