Thomas Tuchel is expecting to not be on the touchline for Chelsea's clash with Leicester City at Stamford Bridge but is awaiting confirmation after the German coach responded to the charge following the independent commission's written reasons.
The Blues boss was handed a one-match ban and a fine for his actions in the aftermath of Chelsea's match against Tottenham as the teams came together after Tuchel failed to let go of Antonio Conte during their handshake. Both coaches saw red cards for what played out, having also picked up yellows for their clash following Spurs' first goal of the match.
The commission suggest Tuchel was more culpable than Conte for what happened after the final whistle. The Blues boss did not appear to agree in his press conference.

He said: "I don't think so but it's not 100% sure, we are waiting for the last response. I think we can do the same as always as I can arrive in the stadium and be in the changing room for sure. It seems I cannot be on the sideline but we need to wait for the final answer because we responded to the written charge and we are waiting for the answer today.
"I think there are two sides to it. One side to it is that I got a red card and I behaved in a way which is not appropriate but it was out of passion and I don't think it was too aggressive.
"I can accept if I get a red card during a match, if this is the decision, that I have a touchline ban and I am fine. This is one side to it and I am fine. I don't dispute it and I can accept it
"It's hard to accept the context because I don't think I started the aggression, it started earlier and I don't think I was the only person involved. We both got a red card and a player pulled another player by his hair two minutes earlier and he can play on and is not banned and for a firm handshake at the end of the match, one coach is banned. This is very hard to accept but I have to accept it but put it into context, I cannot understand."
