Thomas Partey is easily enjoying his best run of form as an Arsenal player.
Aside from his red card against Liverpool last month, the Ghana international hasn't put a foot wrong for the Gunners and it could soon be time to revisit his own rather honest rating of his spell in north London so far.
Following Arsenal's 3-2 defeat at the hands of Manchester United at the beginning of December, Partey clearly wasn't happy with his overall form following his £45m move from Atletico Madrid in the 2020 summer transfer window.
"I give myself four [out of 10], because there are moments I can really hurt the other team but there are also moments where I allow myself to lose focus and that's when everything goes down," he told Sky Sports News. "This is when you realise that you have to get better."
Since then things have improved for Partey at Arsenal.
Prior to departing for the Africa Cup of Nations at the start of 2022, he produced a man-of-the-match display in the Gunners' 2-1 loss against Manchester City and earned comparisons to Patrick Vieira.
"He looked like @OfficialVieira," Arsenal favourite Gilberto Silva tweeted.
Whilst many supporters considered that performance as Partey's best for the club since the 1-0 win over Man United at Old Trafford last season, the mission for the 28-year-old was to repeat the level of display on a consistent basis.
And judging by the response on social media, it would appear that it's mission accomplished for the Gunners' No.5.
Following seven straight strong outings in the Premier League against Southampton, West Ham United, Leeds United, Norwich City, Man City, Wolves and more recently Brentford where he claimed an assist for Bukayo Saka, a large number of Arsenal fans believe Partey has finally arrived in English football.
