Thomas Frank has condemned Brentford supporters who booed Christian Eriksen during Manchester United's 4-0 hammering on Saturday.
Josh Dasilva, Mathias Jensen, Ben Mee and Bryan Mbeumo were all on the scoresheet in what was a disastrous first half at the Brentford Community Stadium for United. The second 45 was mainly a non-event with the damage having been firmly done before the break.
With no player covering themselves in glory, United fans showed their outrage towards the players at full time but one player was receiving boos from all four stands. Eriksen, who left Brentford at the end of last season to move to Old Trafford, fell victim to jeers from the home fans throughout the match.

Speaking to the media at full time, Bees manager Frank believed that his supporters were not correct to take aim at Eriksen in this way. "I understand fans and how they can react but personally, I think we as a club should show class, respect and integrity throughout every action we do," he explained.
"That’s what I try to do every single day. I think we need to remember that it was not every single fan who did it, I don’t know how many.
"It doesn’t have to be Christian. We’ve got Neal Maupay coming back, Ollie Watkins, any player coming back.
"It’s nothing special about Christian. I think we should, the first time they come back, applaud them when they say their name and then of course there is the banter where you can sing a little bit but the booing of a player, I think that’s not class.
"That’s not me. If fans want to do that, I will not say it’s fine, but I will never do it."
