This weekend's GAA Championship fixtures

The Allianz Hurling Leagues might have only ended last weekend, but several Ulster counties are thrust straight into Championship action this weekend.

The opening rounds of the 2022 Christy Ring, Nickey Rackard and Lory Meagher Cups take place this weekend with recently crowned Division 2B champions Derry hoping to make a winning start at home to Wicklow.

Tyrone clinched the Division 3A title at the expense of Armagh with both teams back out on Sunday with Tyrone taking on Warwickshire in Birmingham while the Orchard County host Roscommon in the Athletic Grounds.

The Armagh City venue also hosts tonight’s Ulster U20 Football Championship semi-final between Cavan and Derry with Tyrone and Donegal clashing at Celtic Park.

Ulster counties will also be bidding for silverware on the national stage with Antrim camogs taking on Wexford in tomorrow’s Division Two final at Croke Park.

Armagh Ladies will travel to Croker on Sunday to face Derry in the Division Two final.
