Our friends at CorkBeo noticed that it's up for sale in the historic town, with the house sitting right on the edge of the water at the top of the Great Island

The two-bed is currently on sale with an asking price of €375K, while there's also a bungalow beside it, Ashgrove Lodge, which can be included in the deal for an extra €275K.

The Coach House was built around 1800 and used to be an outbuilding - it's now a modern home inside but boasts a huge amount of history dating back to the 16th century outside.

The half-acre site has a garden at the front and rear, and it's the latter that packs one very unique feature to it that not many will be able to boast.

Right on the site is Ballymacshaneroe Castle, which was built by the Smith Barry family hundreds of years ago.

Yep you read that right, for just €375k, you can have your own castle!

Seller Sam J Kingston of Casey and Kingston said there's also a number of other outbuildings that come with it.

The ad reads: "Casey and Kingston are delighted to present this beautiful 2 bed, 2 storey at the edge of the ocean on the north side of Cobh Island, Co Cork for sale.

"The facadeof the building is cut stone with a red brick surrounding the arched windows. Build in C 1800 it was formerly an outbuilding, however, the property has been fully modernised internally and comes with a kitchen/diner, separate living room, bathroom and 2 bedrooms.

" The property stands on a site of approx. 1898 sq m (.47 acres) which includes Ballymacshaneroe Castle which was built by the Smith Barry family in the 16th century, together with a number of other outbuildings."
