Tiger Woods’ incredible week at the Masters came to a close Sunday with a final round 6-over, 78. It wasn’t the ending he was probably hoping for but it was easily one of the most impressive showings in his legendary career.
And when it was all done you could see on his face just how much it meant for him to be able to play the complete tournament just 14 months after he nearly died in a car accident.
This week wasn’t really about his scores. Sure, that 1-under 71 in the first round was awesome and had everyone thinking he might just contend in this thing yet again.
Instead, this week was just about being able to see Tiger being back at Augusta and being able to still hit shots that left us all in awe of his greatness. It was just really nice to have back.
After Tiger made par on 18 on Sunday he made his way through the crowd behind the green and you could tell by his huge smile that he was so grateful to be able to do this once again.
