Major League Baseball players, for the most part, can do a lot of things you and I can’t on the diamond. There’s a reason why they’re doing what they’re doing for a living and we’re doing whatever it is we’re doing for a living, after all.
But every now and then it is nice to see a professional baseball player do something that we could definitely do if for some reason we were ever given the chance to play in at MLB game.
Something like that happened yesterday in Los Angeles when Phillies outfielder Odubel Herrera swung and missed at a pitch that sailed between his legs.
Check this out:
Yency Almonte, Nutmeg Slider.
[With both the Phillies and Dodgers calls of it 🔊😂]

That announcer summed it up pretty well!
We have to give Dodgers pitcher Yency Almonte all of the credit there because that slider he threw was absolutely ridiculous. I need more nutmeg sliders in my life because I can’t stop watching that video. It’s amazing.
