Calling all budget-conscious drinkers: a map showing the nearest happy hour to a number of London Underground stations has been created.
It’s been a good couple of weeks for people who like to drink near Tube stops without breaking the bank. Earlier this month, a map appeared revealing where to find the cheapest pints all over the travel network, including details of how to snag a lager for just £1.89.
This latest redesign charts the best deals to be found a stone’s throw from stations in Zones 1 and 2, with a variety of two-for-one drinks and cut-price cocktails.
The map, which comes courtesy of the app Mappy Hour, also features details of which days and times the happy hours occur.
There are certainly some tempting offers. Anyone passing through Southwark at 4-6pm from Monday to Friday can buy one drink at The Distillery and then grab a second for just a penny, while Temple’s Salsa does half-price drinks everyday between 4-8pm.
Foodies should also take note, as there are some culinary deals to be had — get off at Notting Hill between 12-8pm, Monday to Thursday, to make the most of Patty and Bun’s £5 burgers.
Still not satisfied? We’ve been on a mission to find London’s cheapest pint, and think we’ve cracked it — click here to find out where it is.
Meanwhile, a Wetherspoon pub is always a reliable option for a cheap pint, and we’ve ranked every single Zone 1 outpost to find the best.
