This Rosso Fuji Livery For the Moto Guzzi V85TT Is Pure Eye Candy

Moto Guzzi is without a doubt one of the OGs of the motorcycle world. Since 1921, the Italian marque has been cranking out bikes that are as unique as they are legendary. Unlike other brands that chase the latest trends, Guzzi sticks to what makes them special: transverse V-twins, shaft drives, and a whole lot of character.

Over the years, they’ve built pretty much everything from retro-styled roadsters like the V7 to cutting-edge tourers like the V100 Mandello, always keeping that classic Italian soul intact. So yeah, suffice it to say that if you’re into motorcycles that have a story to tell, Moto Guzzi is where it’s at.

When the V85 TT first hit the scene in 2019, it was like Moto Guzzi threw a wrench in the adventure bike scene—and personally, I think it was in the best way possible. Because while other brands were going bigger, faster, and more high-tech, Guzzi was like, “Nah, let’s keep it real.” And that’s pretty much what they did.

The V85 TT isn’t about crazy horsepower or mind-boggling electronics. It’s about feeling connected to the ride. It keeps things old school with an air-cooled 853cc V-twin. It sends power to the rear wheel via a shaft drive which requires no maintenance, lest something goes wrong or you get into a little scuffle and damage the drivetrain. Styling-wise, the V85TT is a solid blend of classic and modern, with an extra touch of ruggedness.

And for 2025, Guzzi decided to spice things up with the Rosso Fuji edition. No big mechanical changes, but man, does it look good. This colorway is a nod to Japan’s famous Red Fuji, yep, the one from those iconic Hokusai paintings that come to mind whenever you think Japan. It sports a bright red frame, two-tone graphics—it’s a head-turner for sure.

But it’s more than just a cool paint job. According to Japanese culture, Red Fuji represents strength, transformation, and resilience—all things that fit right in with Guzzi’s philosophy. Plus, Guzzi has a solid fan base in Japan, so this is kind of a love letter to their riders over there.

Now, if you’re wondering what’s changed in terms of specs and features—spoiler alert: not much, and that’s actually a good thing. The V85 TT still rocks the same air-cooled, 853cc V-twin, but now with variable valve timing for better efficiency and a little extra oomph. It cranks out 80 horsepower at 7,750 rpm and 61 pound-feet of torque at 5,100 rpm, which isn't enough to rip your face off, but plenty for adventure riding.

You still get the steel tube frame, spoked wheels with tubeless tires, and a 23-liter fuel tank that lets you keep going when others have to stop for gas. Plus, Moto Guzzi threw in an IMU-powered safety system, so it’s got just the right amount of modern tech without losing its old-school charm.

So, if you’re into adventure bikes but want something that stands out from the usual suspects, this one’s worth a look. Whether you’re a longtime Guzzi fan or just someone who appreciates a bike with character, the V85 TT Rosso Fuji is a machine that demands your attention. Best of all, it doesn’t seem to be a release exclusive to Japan. So it’ll soon be available to Guzzi fans from all over the world.
