One of the hallmarks of Christmastime and the holiday season is the presence of classic Christmas songs that sing about all aspects of the season from the weather to the gifts.
One well-known tune is Eartha Kitt's 1953 Christmas song "Santa Baby," a sung wish list of extravagant gifts that includes one particular present that car enthusiasts and the most discerning gift recipients know by heart.
"A 54' convertible, too. Light Blue."
According to contributor nicole13 at online music encyclopedia Genius, the convertible in question is a Cadillac Series 62; a testament of American luxury of the period.

Inside, a pillar-to-pillar 55-inch-diagonal display dominates the dashboard and a smart glass panoramic sunroof is the highlight up top, while all four passengers can enjoy the comfort of an individualized four-zone microclimate control system. Additionally, the car has 600 horsepower from a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup and features Cadillac's Super Cruise for hands-free driving.
But for your $975,000, you get much more than just the car. The recipient and a guest will take part in a two-day trip to the Motor City to get the whole Cadillac experience. Guests will watch the car being hand built at Cadillac's Artisan Center, take part in a VIP tour of the Cadillac House design studio and meet with Cadillac designers.
Additionally, guests will take part in a private tour of a "notable Detroit landmark institution" with a docent or historian, a multi-course dinner from a "renowned Detroit chef" and a stay at a luxury boutique hotel in downtown Detroit or the metro Detroit area.
The $975,000 purchase price includes a $25,000 donation to the Detroit Opera House; the "Carmen" name gets its inspiration from the titular Georges Bizet opera.
