This Morning viewer figures have risen by nearly 100,000 in a week as Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary took over following Phillip Schofield's exit.
The ITV show has been centre of a media frenzy the last few weeks after reports of a feud between presenters Phil and Holly Willoughby broke.
Phillip then 'stepped back' from the show and later quit ITV all together after he admitted to having an affair with a younger colleague.
Despite the chaos, Alison and Dermot have been trying to maintain stability and keep the show running.
Holly and Phil last presented the programme on Thursday, May 18, and Holly is set to return to the sofa on Monday, June 5.
Despite the huge shakeup, viewing figures are said to have surged during Holly and Phil's absence as a total of 797,000 people tuned in to watch Monday's episode, writes The Mirror.
The programme peaked with 996,000 viewers, which was a jump on the previous week's Monday episode in which 703,000 viewers tuned in - with a peak of 918,000.
Over 644,000 people tuned in to watch what would be Phil's last time presenting the show.
Earlier this week, Alison and Dermot addressed the drama surrounding the show but appeared to be "sad and tired".
Just minutes into the programme, Dermot said: "We know we have been in the news at the moment. But just from both of us and the whole team here, the crew, the guys downstairs, we love making this show for all of you."
