This Morning has come under fire from viewers after presenter Alice Beer interviewed mourners on Albert Embankment in London, in the queue to see the late Queen Elizabeth II lying in state. After chatting to people about how long they'd been waiting, the 57-year-old presenter said that she would bring them "a little joy" and proceeded to offer them Biscoff doughnuts.
"I'm about to become the most popular person in the queue I suspect," Alice said, as mourners flocked to her box of sweet treats. "Doughnuts anybody?" she shouted in a bid to feed more people on the ITV show.
Alice continued: "We can pay our respects and eat doughnuts at the same time." Afterwards, viewers took to social media to share their distaste at the surprising moment.

"Alice Beer your [sic] not popular, just EMBARRASSING Yourself please Stop," said one person as they watched the presenter chat to mourners.
In a similar vain, another person wrote: "Alice Beer have a bit of respect ! Guffawing and whooping talking to the people queuing to pay respects to the late queen."
A third commented: "Quite surprised Alice Beer isn’t trying to flog queen memorabilia to the people queuing in line, “do you want a queen t shirt? Gonna cost ya £10!”
And a fourth said: "Can't believe reporters are at the Buckingham Palace queues laughing, smiling and shouting about donuts as if it were a carnival. Show some respect!!!"
