This Morning viewers say Gok Wan 'should know better' as habit makes fans feel sick

This Morning's Gok Wan was under fire after a cooking segment on today's show.

Tuesday's edition of ITV's flagship daytime programme was hosted by Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes. They were joined by the popular TV personality, who was preparing a prawn ramen for them to enjoy.

Gok was preparing the speediest noodles of his life and was thrilled the results as he sampled his work. He said: "That is good. I am really good."

The broadcasters erupted with laughter as the 47-year-old congratulated his own work before he served up the delicious meal. However, viewers following the show on Twitter were unimpressed after they noticed he returned the spoon he ate from to the pan.

Lynne said: "GOK man you tasted soup and put spoon back in pan"

Helen added: "Gok you should know better than to taste the food then put the spoon back in the pot."

Lisa commented: "Tasted it and put the spoon back in!"

Sarah posted: "Anyone else notice Gok tasting the ramen, then putting the same spoon back in the pan to stir it, then serving it out to Phill & Rochelle!"

Baroness Beckie posted, alongside a sick emoji: "He double dipped!"

Jane posted: "looking at Phillip like 'don't mention that Gok put the spoon back in the pot after it went in his mouth' the difference between a chef and a cook"

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV and the ITV Hub
