This Morning fans were chuffed on Monday as Ruth Langsford made her return to the ITV daytime show.
It's the first time that 62-year-old Ruth has hosted This Morning since October 2021 and she was joined by former X Factor star Rylan Clark.
Ruth had confirmed the news on Instagram on Sunday alongside a compilation of her highlights on the staple daytime programme with Rylan.
She captioned the hilarious video: "Excited to be reunited with my TV son [Rylan] on [This Morning] tomorrow….let the fun begin! Hope you can join us at 10.00 am on [ITV]."
As she opened the show, Ruth admitted: "It's lovely, lovely to be here."
Referring to her bright pink suit, she added: "I've gone a bit Barbie today!"
Taking to Twitter on Monday morning, viewers were quick to share their thoughts on having Ruth back.
One person posted: "Yey Ruth’s back, love that woman #thismorning."
Another tweeted: "#Thismorning thank God we’ve Rylan & Ruth as presenters."
A third viewer said: "Ruth and Rylan are presenting #thismorning, all is right with the world."
And a fourth person added: "I love Ruth and Rylan presenting #ThisMorning."
Ruth used to front This Morning every Friday alongside her husband Eamonn Holmes, but the couple were replaced by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary at the beginning of 2021.
In December 2021, Eamonn confirmed that he was leaving This Morning and starting a new presenting role at GB News.
Eamonn - who appeared on This Morning for 15-years - said at the time: "I've spent my career on broadcasting firsts and start-ups, and GB News is one of the most exciting yet.
"It's just the kind of shake-up the industry needs."
He added: "I've admired GB News from the beginning for its clever mix of punchy debate but delivered with warmth and even some fun.
"To me the greatest honour in journalism is to give a voice and respect to the unheard, and that's exactly what GB News is all about."
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITV Hub.
