Viewers tuning in to Friday's episode of ITV's This Morning quickly took to social media to share their concern for Alison Hammond when she seemingly 'disappeared'. The fan-favourite presenter was hosting the show alongside Dermot O'Leary.
Prior to going AWOL, Alison and Dermot chatted to Am I Being Unreasonable star Lenny Rush. Then Kate Lawler brought viewers details of ITV's latest competition. After the VT package, Alison was nowhere to be seen and Dermot was left alone as he chatted to Ted Lasso actor Phil Dunster about his new role in Amazon Prime Video's new series, The Devil's Hour.
Following the interview, Alison did return to the sofa but offered no explanation as to where she she went. She and Dermot then headed over to the kitchen where Georgina Burnett was showing viewers the best Halloween party food ahead of the big day on Monday, reports Manchester Evening News.
Social media users shared their concern when Alison vanished from the ITV show. One person said: "#ThisMorning what happened to Alison??"
In a similar vain, another commented: "Was this a planned solo interview or has she disappeared somewhere? #thismorning."
A third said: "Hope alison is okay, strange how she’s come off the show #ThisMorning."
Viewers, however, were quick to praise Dermot for his handling of the chat on his own. A fourth person said: "Dermot is doing a great interview, What is this? #ThisMorning."
This Morning airs on weekdays at 10am on ITV
