Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield embraced during Wednesday's show as she returned to This Morning after falling ill with coronavirus.
During the latest instalment of the ITV show, the presenting duo marked two years since Prime Minister Boris Johnson put England in lockdown.
Showing the PM's live televised speech from March 2020 as well as a clip of Holly and Phil explaining why they were social distancing on the sofa, Holly commented: "Our lives have changed unimaginably."
As the camera cut back to her and Phillip in the studio, the mother-of-three said: "Well, I think when I said that, if you'd have told me it was going to be two years, I wouldn't have believed it!
"But it has been two years and finally, it was worth the wait Mr Schofield!" Holly added as Phillip replied: "Absolutely!"
The pair then leaded in for a hug with one another.
Viewers were chuffed to see Holly and Phillip embracing one another again as one person tweeted: "Holly and Phillip hugging crying #ThisMorning," followed by a crying face emoji.
Holly and Phil invited therapist couple Nik and Eva Speakman onto Wednesday's show, as well as Doctor Philippa Kaye, as they discussed how life has changed over the past 24 months.
The mother-of-three admitted it was "sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo lovely to be back" with her pal Phillip Schofield.
Taking to Instagram, Holly shared the usual snap of her outfit which consisted of a pink midi-length dress by Rixo.
Holly, 41, teamed the floral garment with a pair of nude heels and pink lipstick as she posed backstage.
Her 7.7 million followers were quick to comment on the post, with one person writing: "You've been missed, I'm so glad you're back."
Another person posted: "Pink is definitely your colour," while a third person commented: "Looking Uber fabulous darling."
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITV Hub.
