A popular television presenter has revealed how she shed the pounds when going from a size 20 down to a size eight since her TV debut.
Josie Gibson has become a fan favourite on daytime television, after she rose to fame for winning the 2010 series of Big Brother, reports Wales Online. The star has earned the admiration of the UK population since appearing on television, and joined This Morning in 2019.
Josie has been working over the Christmas period alongside Craig Doyle, and is an inspirational person to many due to her incredible weight loss transformation over the years.

Back in 2012, The Express reported that she had lost a total of six stone since her debut on the screen, going from a size 20 to a size eight in a matter of years. In 2016 she had surgery to remove excess skin following her weight loss, and in 2021, she lost more weight after piling it on while pregnant with her son, Reggie.
The television host went from a size 18 to size 14 after giving birth to Reggie, and has since released diet books and DVDs to help her fans follow a similar journey in healthy weight loss. It looks like the star has shed the weight through a combination of "healthy eating and exercise", being spurred on by looking after Reggie.
Last year, she tasked herself with new health goals that included improving her sleeping pattern, drinking more water and doing 30-45 minutes of exercise at least three times a week.
Speaking on social media in 2021, Josie revealed that she had been 'stress-eating' to cope with the anxiety of the lockdown, and had piled on the weight again. She said in an Instagram video: "Hello guys, I cannot tell you how happy I am. You know, all these lockdowns, the pandemic has been very stressful.
"How I handle stress is I eat. I've always done it and I went up to a size 18. You just get to the point where you look in the mirror and don't even recognise who you're looking at anymore."
The WW ambassador has dubbed taking on the diet lifestyle from the company formerly known as Weight Watchers was the "best decision" she's ever made.
After gaining around four and a half stone while pregnant with her son, Josie told The Sun that she had been losing weight "slowly" and not putting too much pressure on herself.
Josie explained: "I have done it [losing weight] much more slowly this time, because I was so militant before. I can’t believe I got back up (to that weight) again, I never thought I’d get there, it’s really not good on your body. It just creeps up and before you know it you’re like ‘s*** what have I done?’
"Everyone knows what they need to do. It’s about putting the right foods in your body and being accountable about it. Sometimes I’m not the best at that, I’ve been fluctuating between a size 14 and a 16 lately.
"But it’s just being accountable for it while not putting too much pressure on yourself, because there’s too much pressure in life as it is."
When discussing why she teamed up with WW, Josie added: "I got involved (with WW) because I literally could not catch my little man. He’s so fast and he was running away, so I knew I had to do something. Now I can catch him and feel much fitter and healthier. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve still got a bit to go, but I'm enjoying the journey."
She also continued to say that while there was some extra weight she wanted to shift, if she were "to imagine it as one huge goal, it would put me off".
By switching her food content from carbs and heavy foods to lighter and healthier stuff, the star has shed the weight comfortably and is looking better than ever.
She previously said: "I was eating a lot a stodge before, but I can’t tell you the difference it’s made to my energy. I can get up and go. I’m actually waking up in the morning with a spring in my step – it’s been great, and I’m faster."
Josie also credits her little boy Reggie for inspiring her to take on this weight loss challenge.
She told The Sun: "I think after I had Reggie, my little one is four-years-old now, I was instantly more body confident because your body has done something so spectacular, you can't do anything but love it... After I had Reg I was always more body confident anyway whatever size."
