This Morning's viewers call for Dermot O'Leary to be sacked after swearing on air

Dermot O'Leary called Alison Hammond a b**** for poking fun at his career.

The This Morning conversation turned to Dermot's old appearance during a throwback clip documenting the pair's Big Brother careers. Alison said he should revert back to having a shaved head before calling him "fit" multiple times.

The pair exchanged further comments about how young they both looked before reminiscing how much of an impact Big Brother had on their lives. Alison asked how it felt to look back at the clip before Dermot admitted he had "so much fun on that show."

Alison joked he was only talented working on Big Brother specifically before Dermot clapped back with a sweary remark. He said: "Such a b****."

Shocked by the comment, Alison immediately apologised for the language before Dermot adds a weak "sorry about that." While he attempted to continue with the programme, Alison was seen looking around the studio still concerned about the swear.

Viewers were split by the comments as, while some found it hilarious, others were calling for Dermot to be sacked. One viewer said: "Dermot disgustingly calling Alison a b****. Get rid."

A second comment added: "As if Dermot just called Alison a b**** on live tv. I'm starting to believe they genuinely don't get on!"

One viewer who found the comment funny said: "Dermot saying “such a b****” and Alison trying to not laugh is getting me through the heatwave."

A final comment said: "Dermot calling Allison a b**** on live tv is the highlight of my day #thismorning love them both."
