Ruth Langsford is about to make an unexpected return to This Morning, with a new co-host by her side, Rylan Clark.
Many fans of the ITV daytime show were left gutted when Ruth and husband Eamonn Holmes were replaced as regular Friday presenters by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary after years on the show. After the announcement wa made, it was reported that Ruth and Eamonn were 'hurt' by the way they were treated as viewers complained on their behalf.
Since then, Eamonn has quit ITV altogether for a new job on GB News, while Ruth has remained on the channel as an anchor on Loose Women. But now it has been announced that she is returning to her old stomping ground of the This Morning studio, with Rylan himself breaking the news.
