Phillip Schofield was stunned as The Cheeky Girls shared their new job on This Morning.
The 60-year-old broadcaster fronted Wednesday's edition of ITV's flagship daytime programme, alongside Holly Willoughby. The hosts interviewed the Romanian popstars, who shot to stardom with their rendition of the Cheeky Song on Popstars: The Rivals in 2002.
Gabriela and Monica Irimia didn't progress past the audition stage, but released the single the following year on the album Party Time. The sisters appeared on the show as they prepare to release a new single titled Lets Have Fun to commemorate two decades since their first TV appearance.

The interview was rocked with chaos after The Cheeky Girls turned up at the old ITV studio. However, the sisters raced across London and made it the current studio just in time for the chat.
Phil was shocked during the interview when The Cheeky Girls explained they have also forged a career selling cars. They said: "You think to yourself should we have a plan B?
"Should we try and do something else so both of us worked our way up into the motor trade." Phil was taken aback by the revelation and discovered the sisters worked for Hyundai and BMW.
They added: "Sometimes you would have a customer and they would purchase a vehicle. When the handover comes they ask do I know you? 'Oh my god you are one of the Cheeky Girls. I just bought a car from a Cheeky Girl."
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV and the ITV Hub
