This Morning's Phillip Schofield filled with envy over co-star's job

Phillip Schofield was left filled with envy over his This Morning colleague's Clodagh McKenna's job on Wednesday show.

As Holly Willoughby jets off to Italy to film a new show for the BBC, Phillip has been joined in the studio by stand in host Rochelle Humes this week.

And, after he and Rochelle kicked off the latest episode of the ITV daytime show with a Ski Sunday inspired intro, which saw them pretending to ski in front of a green screen adorned with a snowy backdrop, they crossed live to the Swiss Alps to speak to chef Clodagh.

Regular This Morning contributor Clodagh was standing in the sun drenched snow ready to cook up a cheese fondue as she told the presenting pair that she could see the world's highest fondue restaurant above her, remarking: "It's like a little igloo!"

And, while Clodagh explained to Phillip and Rochelle that she had to conquer her fear of heights over having to take four different ski lifts to get to where she was broadcasting from , Phillip was hit with jealousy as he and Rochelle were left looking on from the studio.

Forcing a smile for Clodagh, he said: "Amazing. That looks fantastic," before turning to Rochelle and remarking: "All week we've had people on the show who've been in places where we'd want to be."

Rochelle replied: "Yeah, it's very true. It look absolutely gorgeous."

Reminding him that she and Phillip would get to tuck into cheese fondue in the studio, Rochelle added: "We get to eat it at least. Shall we bring the green screen back?"

Smiling again, Phillip commented: "Yep put on the green screen Barry, when we eat it."
