Phillip Schofield could be forgiven for feeling slightly weary on his return to This Morning on Tuesday, after dashing back from a skiing trip, where he was joined by the likes of interior design queen Kelly Hoppen and Hollywood actor Luke Evans.
Phillip and presenting partner Holly Willoughby have been away from the ITV studio over the past few weeks, with them taking a break Easter and Phillip certainly made the most of his final few days off being off, as he headed to the slopes for a ski break, with his group also including fashion designer Ben Delisi. The TV star then posted a series of photos from his trip on Instagram, with the first a group shot of the party enjoying some time off the slopes, which he captioned; "Ski gang 2022."
He later uploaded a selfie of him and Kelly, a regular guest on This Morning, calling her 'the best host,' before praising her husband John for being 'a generous host and brilliant ski instructor." Phillip's final picture from his trip away was off he and his celeb friends getting ready to head back to home, with Beauty and the Beast and Fast and Furious 6 actor Luke seen at the front of the shot. Alongside the picture, Phillip wrote: "We don’t want to go!!"

Luke celebrated his 43rd birthday in France and, posting a short video of him blowing out the candles on his cake, he wrote: "What a very special few days I’ve had. With some truly brilliant human beings. Thank you for making my 43rd birthday go off with a bang! Especially @kellbell_red and Big John for being the most epic of hosts, and for @justinhornechef making me a tasty AF birthday cake! It’s been wonderful."
Phillip and Holly return to This Morning just as viewers have been calling for producers to make some major changes. Over the past fortnight, both Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary and Jo sie Gibson and Vernon Kay have been given extended runs as main hosts and some viewers are calling for the duos, particularly Josie and Vernon to be made full time.
