The Christmas holidays are almost upon us and that usually means a few changes for the TV schedule. For This Morning's Phillip Schofield, it means a break from the show.
The presenter took to social media on to announce daytime programme is set for a Christmas shake-up as he said it was his "last day" on the the show before his break.
The presenter will be replaced over the festive break on the ITV flagship daytime programme, which he usually hosts with Holly Willoughby. The main presenters front the show from Monday - Thursday before Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary take over on Fridays, Liverpool Echo reports.

Phil took to Instagram to confirm it was their final show before they enjoy abreak over the festive season, and enjoyed an early morning glass of port before his final show before Christmas. He said: "Last day for the @thismorning make-up room therapy gang. Port at 8am."
Alison and Dermot have assumed the main presenter role at Easter and during the summer, as the show often rotates its presenters during major holidays.
Presenters Holly and Phil fully embraced the festive spirit earlier this week as they attended the show's Christmas party earlier this week, with the crew gathering for a festive lunch at the Fox and Pheasant Pub.
The bar is owned by James Blunt and the musician gate-crashed the bash alongside radio DJ Chris Evans. Alison left fans in hysterics as she posted an Instagram reel featuring show favourites such as Dermot and Clodagh Mckenna.
