This Morning's Phillip Schofield and Alison Hammond reveal date of Holly Willoughby's return

This Morning's Phillip Schofield and Alison Hammond have revealed the date of Holly Willoughby's return to the ITV morning show. At the start of Tuesday's live programme Phil revealed his co-host would be returning on Wednesday, March 23.

TV presenter Holly has been missing from This Morning and from ITV's Dancing on Ice, which she also co-hosts with Phil, since March 13 when she tested positive for Covid-19. On Monday, March 21, Phil was once again joined by Josie Gibson when he told viewers he'd been speaking to Holly all weekend and that she was still getting positive tests and the isolation was "driving her crazy".

On March 22, Alison Hammond had stepped in to help present the daytime show and Phil revealed that his presenting partner Holly would be returning on Wednesday as she is finally testing negative.

Speaking at the start of the show, Phillip Schofield said: "Alison is obviously keeping me company today and we're pleased to say that she [Holly] is negative and she's back tomorrow."

To which Alison broke out in song and sang: "Celebrate good times, come on!" whilst dancing next to Phil who burst into laughter.

"Holly we're so glad you're coming back" Alison continued. "Yeah see you tomorrow Hols" Phil added.

The news means Holly Willoughby will also be returning to host the final of Dancing on Ice when it airs on March 27 from 7pm.

This Morning airs weekdays on ITV and ITV Hub from 10am.
