This Morning's Phillip and Holly cause live 'chaos' as crew member rushes onto set

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield tried and failed to hide a chaotic moment on Thursday's This Morning, when a crew member was seen on camera as the show returned from an ad break.

Given that This Morning is live TV, it has been prone to the odd mishap, with its main presenting duo, Holly and Phillip often at the centre of them. They have been known to be responsible for things going slightly awry; usually by making each other go erupt into a fit of giggles.

That's exactly what happened last week, when Holly got her words mixed up and ended up having to apologise to studio guest Sarah Parish, as she ruined the start of her interview by laughing and failing to regain composure. The daytime programme's daily game show Spin to Win also has a habit of not going to plan, either through the fault of the callers or Holly and Phillip saying or doing the wrong thing.

And it looked like the chaos that ensued midway through the show's fourth and their final episode of the week, was also the hosts' doing.

As the familiar burst of the This Morning theme tune filled the air to signal the end of the adverts, Holly and Phillip were seen looking confused on the set as a member of the crew rushed in to tell them where to stand, but failed to dart back out of shot before cameras started rolling again, meaning they were seen by viewers at home.

Phillip creased up in laughter as he tried to make light of the mishap, with Holly shouting: "They said go to side up....I don't know where side up is! Where's side up?"

Trying to shift the blame, Phillip remarked: "'Get back up there by the pillar' he said. So we went up there by the pillar, no that's the wrong the place; caught you in shot - not enough as far as I'm concerned, you should be..."

Holly then finally found the mark on the floor to indicate where they should have been standing to greet viewers from the ad break, before admitting: "We were like a boat without an anchor."
