This Morning's Lisa Snowdon unveils surprise 'Bond girl' past with sultry throwback

Lisa Snowdon has unveiled her surprise past as a “Bond Girl” on This Morning on Tuesday.

To celebrate the release of the 25th James Bond film and actor Daniel Craig’s final appearance in the role of 007, much of the ITV magazine show’s items were themed on the iconic fictional character.

Hosts Phillip Scofield and Holly Willoughby already made an impression as they drove into the This Morning studios in an Aston Martin DB5.

Later in the show, presenter and radio DJ Lisa Snowdon revealed that should be doing a fission segment on how to get the best looks with James Bond’s style.

However, that was not all that was revealed about Lisa and James Bond in the chat with the hosts.

Holly commented: “You are basically a Bond girl yourself, aren’t you? I mean honestly, look at you.”

Lisa then toasted to Holly and also noted that it was okay to drink martinis as she was okay she would and had been.

“Yes, I’m a Bond girl! That’s my kind of claim to Bond fame,” revealed Lisa. “I was in the Tina Turner video for Goldeneye, which was, of course, the theme tune for that Bond year.”

Lisa added: “That was me in the underwater tank, if you blink you’ll miss me but I am there!”

A surprised Phillip commented: “I love it!”

Holly revealed: “I didn’t know that.”

“It was scary because it was these huge huge tanks and I didn’t tell them I actually didn’t have any scuba diving experience or underwater swimming experience until I got to Pinewood and this huge tank.

“And of course, yes, I had to fake it to make it but it was really fun.”

Lisa Snowdon appeared in the music video for 1995 James Bond song Goldeneye by Tina Turner (ITV)

Tina Turner’s song Goldeneye was released back in 1995 to coincide with the release of the James Bond film of the same name.

The film was the debut of Pierce Brosnan in the role of 007 and was the first of four films with him in the iconic spy role.

Goldeneye also starred the likes of Sean Bean as villain Alec Trevelyan, Izabella Scorupco as Russian programmer Natalya Simonova, Famke Janssen as sadistic villainess Xenia Onatopp, and Judi Dench made her debut as Mi6 boss M.

No Time To Die is finally due to be released on Thursday, September 30, 2021.

*This Morning airs on weekday mornings from 10am on ITV with previous instalments available on ITV Hub.
