This Morning’s Josie Gibson praises Mexican hospital as son has health scare on holidays

This Morning presenter Josie Gibson has praised the health care in Mexico after her son needed medical attention while abroad. Josie and her son Reggie had been enjoying a mother-and-son holiday when Reggie needed to go to the hospital.

Although Josie has not stated why Reggie needed to go to the hospital, she posted a photo of him in a wheelchair to her Instagram stories and praised the Mexican hospital. She said: "I've got to give it up for the Mexican Hospitals, in and out within the hour. Consultation, X-ray, Plastercast, Poor Reggie on holiday aswell".

Earlier in the week Josie posted a video of Reggie dancing by a pool and said they were enjoying some mother-and-son time while on holiday in Mexico. She said: "HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!! Having a blast with this one! #motherandsontravels #dance #moves".

Loose Women presenter Dame Kelly Holmes commented on the video: "Got the moves" to which Josie replied: "obviously gets them from me LOL". In 2010 Josie won the 11th series of Big Brother which shot her into fame.

Josie is a segment and guest presenter for ITV morning show This Morning and hosted her first show alongside Phillip Schofield when Holly Willoughby was forced to call in ill. Reggie is Josie's only child and they live together in her hometown, Bristol, and she commutes to London to work on This Morning.

Josie shares Reggie with her ex-partner Terry who she split from in 2018. The star previously revealed that she would consider adopting a child to give Reggie a sibling, telling Closer: "I haven't got enough time at the moment but, if everything slows down, I'll definitely do it. There are so many kids in the world who need a good home."
