This Morning's Josie Gibson left 'crying' by Welsh guest Wynne Evans

With Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield off for the Easter break Josie Gibson, joined by Craig Doyle, is taking over presenting duties on This Morning and she loved having Welsh guest Wynne Evans on the show on Wednesday, April 12. Wynne is best known as the man in the GoCompare adverts and also has his own BBC Radio Wales show.

As well as speaking out about his mental health and five-stone weight loss - you can read more about that here - Wynne also shared plenty of anecdotes from his job, leading to Josie telling him he was one of her "most favourite guests". She said: "Wynne you have been one of my most favourite guests of all time, thank you so much for coming on the show, you've literally made me cry."

At the start of the programme Josie revealed Wynne had been spotted drinking in her local pub in Yate, near Bristol. Wynne had Josie crying with laughter as he explained how one woman came up to him asking for car insurance quotes and could not understand that he was in the advert and did not actually sell insurance.

He said: "I was thinking she wants an autograph or selfie and she actually said 'I'm glad I've seen you because my daughter has just turned 17 and we are thinking about buying her a little Clio and we wondered what the insurance would be?' I was like 'Listen, love, I don't sell insurance, I am literally in the adver't...it was like an out-of-body experience where I hear myself say to this woman 'What is your postcode?' Then I say to her like a madman, 'Are you keeping the car on the drive or on the road?'" while Josie cried with laughter.
