Josie Gibson has revealed she is advancing from This Morning to take part in another ITV show which will see her going a string of fellow celebrities competing in a cooking contest.
The 37-year-old star first shot to fame back in 2010 when she was a contestant and then winner of the 11th season of the reality series Big Brother.
She has been working as a presenter in the years since her victory and is currently thrilling daytime TV viewers as a co-host of This Morning alongside 47-year-old Vernon Kay while regular hosts Holly Willoughby, 41, and Phillip Schofield, 60, take time off for Easter.
On Tuesday's show, Vernon handed the spotlight to Josie as they hosted the show together as he encouraged her to tell viewers about her new TV show gig.
Vernon declared: "We've got some exclusive news, Josie is about to star in a big ITV show.
"Spill the beans! Well no, don't do that, but tell us what it is because beans are involved!"
Josie then excitedly revealed: "Well, I have signed up for Cooking With The Stars and I cannot tell you how difficult it is!
"I did not realise how bad my memory is!"
Josie will be joining other celebrity contestants that include Strictly Come Dancing's Anton Du Beke, Love Island star Maura Higgins, and After Life actor Joe Wilkinson.
Others taking part include Olympic icon Dame Kelly Holmes, The Chase star Anne ‘The Governess’ Hegert, TV Doctor Ranj Singh and celebrity offspring Woody Cook – who is the son of Zoe Ball and Norman ‘Fatboy Slim’ Cook.
Josie herself will be aided on the show by being paired with Scottish chef and restaurateur Tony Singh as they compete for the crown.
Cooking With The Stars proved to be a hit during series one last year when chaos was unleashed in the kitchen as a number of stars battled to win the title.
McFly star Harry Judd accidentally added a bit of human flesh and blood to one of his dishes when he sliced off the top of his finger while cooking.
Show host Emma Willis revealed at the time: “The first chop he made, he took the end of his finger off. We put bandages on and doubled gloved him as well because he was like ‘I really want to carry on.’
“I was like “is your hand all, right? And he went, yes, it’s a bit sweaty in there I have been double gloved for an hour.
“He kind of looked in and pulled it back a bit. I was like, that’s not sweat, dude, that’s blood. One of the chefs was like ‘you need a medic, immediately.’”
Meanwhile, co-presenter Tom Allen has said of the upcoming second seaon: "Last series was so exciting!
"Emma Willis and I have been polishing our frying pans in preparation – we have so much fun working together.
“The celebrities are being trained by some of the best chefs in the business and with the clock ticking it’s always tense to see if they’ll improve their cooking enough each week to measure up to the judges’ high standards.”
