This Morning's Josie Gibson in hysterics as bra falls off in Little Mermaid sketch

This Morning's Josie Gibson's couldn't stop laughing when her 'bra' fell off today when she was dressed up as a mermaid.

The Big Brother star, 38, sported the outfit while promoting the release of the Disney classic reboot of the film, which stars Halle Bailey.

As hosts Dermot O' Leary and Alison Hammond cut to Josie head of her segment, she grinned lying next to a pool, explaining she understood why 'Ariel wanted legs' as she showed off her sequinned tail.

But as she flipped the 'fin' excitedly, her purposefully-placed seashells fell off as the mum-of-one exclaimed: "I've lost my bra!"

Alison and Dermot couldn't contain themselves as Josie tried to protect her modesty, scrabbling around for the shells.

Struggling to keep a straight face, the star teased she would be taught how to be a real life mermaid as she did her best to put the current drama surrounding the show to one side.

The mishap brought some much-needed merriment to the studio in the wake of Phillip Schofield's bombshell statement in which he admitted to having a affair with a young male runner on the show.

He confessed to the affair after he quit This Morning earlier this month following a reported fallout with Holly Willoughby.

Holly said she was hurt by her former co-star's 'lies' but there have been calls for the mum-of-three to resign claiming she must have known.

However, Holly will be back on the show on Monday, according to reports and Alison will be he co-host.

The pair had great chemistry when Alison stood in for Phil during his brother's trial.

The bubbly Brummie is now said to be a shoo-in for the coveted gig amid reports Holly is making a defiant come back.

A source told The Sun: "She has made it clear she was one of the people Phil lied to and she has nothing to hide.

"She will return to This Morning as planned on Monday and carry on like the professional she is.

"Holly has been affected by Phil's actions and it has been very difficult. She is devoted to This Morning however and will continue to do the best job she can for them."

The Mirror reported Phil's shocking admission left ITV bosses desperate to 'save the show and its executives.'

They said: “The next few weeks will be a desperate bid to save the show – and the jobs of the execs. Fingers are being pointed at the top brass, even though he admitted he lied to all of them.

“The show’s wholesome image is clearly tarnished, but bullish ITV execs are not going to just throw the baby out with the bath water."
